Family Program

The GoodLooking Foundation holds it's program of "Respite Through Inclusion" twice a year; in the Spring and in the Fall. There are twelve sessions held on Saturday mornings.  These mornings are meant to serve the entire family.  We have something for everyone.  The children enjoy guided activities and fun while our parents are treated to some time to talk, try a new activity or make some new friends.

What is the Family Program?
Respite Through Inclusion is the GoodLooking Foundation's initiative to realize a family autism center.

While your children are having fun and growing under the guidance of trained professionals, parents will have the opportunity for respite.  Maybe attend a cooking class, get a manicure or learn how to hit a nine-iron.  Maybe just sit back and relax with a book.  Moms and dads will have the choice.

Meanwhile, your children both on and off the spectrum will look forward to having fun and interacting in a productive, caring, and inclusive environment that compliments services they may already receive.  Working together as a team, the children may create a work of art, play a piece of music, or compete in a ballgame.  All while creating bonds based on the common life experience of growing up with autism in the family.

Details:
Weekly sessions will be held Saturday mornings from 10 am to noon at Hope Church, located at the intersection of Centennial and Cooper Avenues in Voorhees, NJ.  Please contact Joe if you are interested in attending the Goodlooking Foundation Family Program.
